Another exciting week passes in Galway. The week began last Monday with the awesome performances of the Southern Utah Heritage Choir here at St. Nicholas' Cathedral in city centre. For about 2 hours we got a taste of what it's like to be a missionary in Utah! Dozens of people came up and hugged us and thanked us for our work. I got to meet some really cool people, and some hilarious man whose wife sings in the choir took us out for lunch. It was a huge departure from normal missionary life in Ireland, when you never hear 'Elders!!' from a random person on the street, nor do you see shiny, straight, white teeth gleaming from everyone.
We spent much of the rest of the week working with Sharon, Busa, and the Rostas family. We didn't do too much finding, which was nice! It's good when we get to the point where we can fill all of our time with teaching people in their homes.
The Rostas are doing well. They're understanding and learning is very limited, so we teach super simply! Their hearts are the size of cantaloupes, though.
We got the opportunity to invite a former investigator, Ade, to be baptised this week. Ade is an African man Elder Leonard and I used to work with. He's come to church for the past month and we decided he needed to be taught again! We are going to focus with him this week on helping him find that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of god.
The radio reporter guy missed his flight from Belfast to come here, so he'll now come down on the 21st to follow us around.
We've got interviews with President Brown tomorrow, so I'm excited for that!
