The main event that made it great was Denise's baptism. She had her interview from President Brown on Tuesday and even with the adversary working against her she was able to overcome and enter the waters of baptism on Saturday. It was just a great experience to be there with her and to see the ward welcome her with open arms.
Our Sunday yesterday was just plain fantastic. Elder Boehme confirmed her and gave her a beautiful blessing. Afterwards she just smiled and said, "Wow." She later recalled what it felt like and she said that the moment we laid our hands on her head she felt a pulse go from her head to her toes and back.
When she was describing what it felt like to be baptised she said that she just felt completely clean, and that she's grateful to God for giving her a second chance in life to become a new person.
The testimony meeting that followed her confirmation was so powerful. I'm grateful for the gift of the Spirit and the feelings of God's love we can feel through it.
Missionary work is the greatest thing in the world.

So I also went on exchange with the Edinburgh zone leaders this week and Elder Johns and I had a crazy day. We were driving to exchange and we somehow got a flat tire.. Then within the space of 5 minutes after we changed it we had another flat tire! Result = stranded for 3 hours. Horrible. We were really hungry so we tried calling around to some different food places asking if they would deliver to us on the side of the motorway. A few of them had policies against that....
